I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world―Chinese.

I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at , he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China ”

Caring For Nature--Overpopulation What is nature? It's everything thatexists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earthand rocks, and the weather. Now more and more people are focusing on the is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, nolife. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a longtime. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And thislasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around isgetting worse and worse. What is threatening the nature? Air and waterpollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so population is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation asan example.

What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city ina tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high andwhen the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. Peopletalking. People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and le relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxiwindows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As wedrive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noiseand cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening. To thenature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And thebig population is threatening the nature every second.

A man was walking along the street when he saw a woman struggling with a large box. It was half in and half out of her car. He was a nice man, so he went up to the woman and said, “Let give you a hand with that box, It looks very heavy.”

“That is very kind of you,” the woman said. “I’m having a lot of trouble with it. I think it’s struck.” “Together we’ll soon move it.” The man said, He got into the back seat of the car and took hold of the other end of the box. He said, “And he began to push hard.”

Soon they were tired. “Let’s rest for a minutes,” the man said,” I’m sorry, but it is struck.” A few minutes later, the man said, “let’s try again.Are you ready?” Both of them took hold of the box again. “one, two, three!” the man said, and they went on with their struggle.

At last, when they were very tired, the man said, “you’re right, It is really struck, I don’t think there’s any way we can get it out of the car.”

The woman cried. “I’m trying to get it in!”

The Elves and the Shoemaker

Many years ago, there was a shoe shop. A shoemaker and his wife lived there. They were very poor. They only had one piece of leather. They wanted to ;make one more pair of shoes.

That night, the shoemaker put the leather on the table. Then they went to bed.

The next day, the shoemaker saw a new pair shoes on the table. He was very happy. Soon a man came into the shop. He bought the shoes. Now the shoemaker had some money.

The shoemaker bought more leather. He wanted to make two pairs of shoes. He put the leather on the table. Then he went to bed. The next day, there were two pairs of new shoes on the table.

The next night, the shoemaker didn’t go to bed. He saw two elves in his shop. They made the shoes. The shoemaker wanted to thank the elves. He mad some little clothes for them. He also cooked them a big dinner.

That night, the elves came to the shop. There wasn’t any leather. But they were very happy to find the new clothes and food.

Today my topic is"Be more civilized to welcome the Expo"

As we all know， the next EXPO will be held in Shanghai in 21. We will have thousands of visitors here in our hometown， then how should we show our manners? Of course， all of us prefer to show our good manners， so we should pay attention to our daily customs， China is a traditional country with a long history. The young should show our Chinese culture and good manners to the world .I t is easy to say than to do ，most of us didn’t pay enough attention to “seven don’ts” sometimes they throw rubbish everywhere ，cross the road when the light is red .Although they know these behavirous are not good ，they still do it .I hope everyone of us can take part in this social practice .We should carry ourselves well ，respect our teachers and so on ，try to show our best manners to the world .

I think ，we should follow the next three points in our daily life :

First :Keep our clothes clean and neat ，too much make up looks unnatural for us .

Second :We should obey the old saying “See no evil ，hear no evil ，speak no evil .”

Third :We should be polite to others ，especially to the foreigners .When the Expo comes ，there will be a lot of foreigners ，we can show friendliness to them ，we can show the way to them ，say “hello “to them ，and I think our smiling faces are also necessary .

xiongning, a twenty-nine-year-old girl, went to qinghai province to help people there when she knew they are suffering from the big snow disaster. and she died of the traffic accident on the way to a school whose students have no parents.

she is a girl com from xi’an. a few years ago, xiongning gave some clothing and ten thousand yuan to a school in qinghai province. when she graduated from the university, she had a dream; she wanted to devote herself to commonweal. at first, she had a chance to get a good job, but she gave up the job, and helped others again and again.

this year, qinghai suffered from a big snow disaster, and xiongning collected a series of things to help people there. march 1, they left for qinghai and gave the clothing, medicines to people there. march 10, she lost her life by a traffic accident.

xiongning has set a good example to us. because of her, many people began to think about life and to do their best everywhere. they help others more often without asking anything, and care about their friends more often.

her spirit moved many people, we should learn from her, devote ourselves to our favorite job.
